THE NAKED EMPEROR
"THE NAKED EMPEROR" is a feature film (live action/CGI) for
the whole family, an uproarious tale of the ancient battle of common sense
versus incompetence, stupidity and pomposity.
SYNOPSIS and SCRIPT available.
Based on two immortal Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales, "The Princess
and the Pea" and "The Emperor's New Clothes", "THE NAKED
EMPEROR" is chock full of imagination, vivid characters, and biting
satire (for those who care to recognize themselves)!
In an imaginary land without time or place, a foolish Emperor tries to marry
a beautiful Princess against her will. Her beloved Heinrich tries any trick
in the book to help her escape the marriage, but in the end there is only
one way to overcome the Emperor's power: show him to the people as he really
is - boorish, arrogant, and full of hot air!
Because the "THE NAKED EMPEROR" is a fairy tale, the visuals are
fantastic, almost surrealistic in nature, displaying a rich, vivid, imaginative
setting that lends itself easily to the latest in visual technology. In
reflecting the theme, the sets are inflatable, from the flowers in the Palace
Garden to the Emperor's bed to the Palace itself!
All in all, "THE NAKED EMPEROR" is a feast of colour, action and
laughter sure to leave its viewers splitting their sides!
